Be co-operative - nominate a co-operative today!

The success of last year's Co-operative Awards – highlighting the excellent work of co-operatives - has inspired the team at Co-operatives UK to make the 2010 Awards even bigger and better! And now it's your chance to get involved and show that there is an alternative.

To help Co-operatives UK recognise and celebrate all that is excellent within the co-operative movement, they want to hear from you!

If you are part of - or know - a co-operative business in the UK that really shows how what makes co-operatives a better alternative, now is your chance to put them forward for the Co-operative Awards 2010.

In no more than 500 words let Co-operatives UK know about what makes them an excellent example of a co-operative. Tell them about their people, their products, their services - in short their story!

The closing date for nominations is Monday 26 April 2010.

Winners will be notified of their success by the end of May 2010 and the awards will be presented on Saturday 26 June 2010 at the Gala Dinner, part of Co-operatives 2010 in Plymouth.
