The ballot on pay 2009 for those within the Alliance population close on 6 March 2009. The results of the ballot were:

Accept Proposals 96.3%
Reject Proposals 3.7%

The base pay increase is effective from 1 April and will be paid in the 2 April 2009 pay advice.
