We are pleased to announce the result of the ballot of members on the 2010 Co-operative Group pay deal. The Ballot has resulted in an endorsement of the offer as detailed in the communication to members on 11 May 2010, summarised as follows:

  • Managers in Role Bands 1 to 4 will receive a performance based pay increase from a total pay pot of 2.25% of the salary bill
  • A flat rate increase to salaries for managers in Role Band 5 of 2.25% or £550 (full time equivalent), whichever is the greater

The ballot result was: To accept 83% - To reject 17%

The increases to base pay is effective from 28 March 2010 and will be implemented in the July pay roll.
